Life on the ranch wasn\u2019t all roping cattle and sharing a beer for the cast of \u201cDutton Ranch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler on the \u201cYellowstone\u201d spin off revealed that the cast faced some harsh conditions while filming the first season in Texas.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it was the end of the nine months of work, so I think I was a bit wiped out. The cast and crew were wiped out,\u201d Hauser told People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cWe went through a lot of weather issues with the heat, then the freezing cold, and there were ice storms. It was just nuts.\u201d<\/p>\n

By the time they finished filming the first season of the Paramount+ hit, the cast and crew were ready for a break.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think everybody at the very end of episode 9 was ready to take a breather, go home, rest up and get ready for this next year,\u201d Hauser said.<\/p>\n

Despite the difficulties, Hauser is happy with how the show came out.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll in all, I think the whole season was tough, but it was very rewarding in the end,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cThe audience loved it. The critics loved it. I can\u2019t wait to continue to make \u2018Dutton Ranch\u2019 as good as it can be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Director Christina Alexandra Voros previously told People about the wild weather changes they experienced while filming.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen filming began, it was around 106 degrees for the first week that we were shooting,\u201d Voros said. \u201cWe finished the show in March and we got shut down for four days because of an ice storm. So we had every weather emoji over the course of shooting this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Voros added, \u201cOur crew is really intrepid. Our cast is really intrepid. We got through all of it, but it wasn\u2019t easy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Season 2 of \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d is set to begin filming in early 2027. The first season is currently streaming on Paramount+.<\/p>\n
