\u201cLandman\u201d will be back in Fort Worth soon, a key cast member recently teased.<\/p>\n

James Jordan, who plays Dale, was asked about the oil drama series last week while on the red carpet for \u201cLioness\u201d season 3. He also stars as \u201cTwo Cups\u201d on the spy series that returned for season 3<\/a> over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Jordan told US Weekly<\/a> that \u201cLandman\u201d begins shooting sometime in September and will continue into the new year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe we\u2019re bringing back the same director, Stephen Kay, who I adore. So it\u2019s going to be a great ride. We start that sometime in September and we\u2019ll shoot that through the first quarter of next year. Then we should have it out \u2026 I don\u2019t know when. It\u2019s up to the powers that be, but we\u2019re very excited to get started on that,\u201d Jordan said.<\/p>\n

\u2018Landman\u2019 sets season 3 filming date<\/p>\n

Jordan\u2019s comments are the first update on \u201cLandman\u201d season 3 since Billy Bob Thornton previously teased a start date earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

In May, Thornton told Howie Mandel<\/a> that filming on the new season begins at the \u201cend of August.\u201d<\/p>\n

While there\u2019s not much difference between the timing of Jordan and Thornton\u2019s dates, they are much later than the May start date that was previously teased by \u201cLandman\u201d co-creator Christian Wallace<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

When \u201cLandman\u201d returns to Fort Worth, it will be the latest production start date for the show thus far.<\/p>\n

Season 1 began filming in February 2024, while season 2 rolled cameras in March 2025. Both seasons premiered the following November in their respective years.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear what the release plan for season 3 will be.<\/p>\n

\u201cLandman\u201d is described as a \u201cmodern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLandman\u201d is primarily filmed in Fort Worth, with several local landmarks and references appearing in the series.<\/p>\n

In addition to the previously mentioned cast, \u201cLandman\u201d stars Demi Moore, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Andy Garcia, Paulina Ch\u00e1vez, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, Colm Feore and Mark Collie.<\/p>\n

Both seasons of \u201cLandman\u201d are streaming on Paramount+.<\/p>\n
