One person was killed and others were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Fort Worth early Monday, police said.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to the crash about 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Felix Street and South Freeway, police said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Investigators determined that one car was heading north on the Interstate 35 West service road toward East Felix Street, while another vehicle was driving east on East Felix, police said.<\/p>\n

According to police, the driver of the first vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of 4800 I-35 service road and 700 East Felix road. The second vehicle, which had a green light, was heading east when the two collided.<\/p>\n
Police said the second vehicle crashed with the front end of the fist vehicle. The first vehicle then collided into a traffic signal pole on the northeast corner of the intersection, police said.<\/p>\n
The passenger of the first vehicle sustained major injuries and died at a local hospital, according to police. Other people involved were taken to nearby hospitals.<\/p>\n
Police believe speed may have factored in the crash. Further details about how many other people were injured, or their conditions were not released.<\/p>\n
The investigation is ongoing, police said.<\/p>\n
