Longtime Mill City<\/a> resident Eula Wilson\u2019s journey toward repairing her home began more than five years ago. Each year, she ran into obstacle after obstacle when applying to the City of Dallas\u2019 home repair programs. At first, she didn\u2019t qualify because the house was in her late husband\u2019s name. She fixed that problem and others, but once she had jumped through all the hoops, inspectors determined she didn\u2019t qualify because the cost of her repairs was too high.<\/p>\n In February, as the City of Dallas reworked its home repair programs,<\/a> Dallas Free Press\u2019 Jennie Trejo published a story detailing Wilson\u2019s journey.<\/a><\/p>\n Soon, Wilson will have a new home,<\/a> courtesy of South Dallas nonprofit Frazier Revitalization<\/a>.
