The advisory was in effect until 8:45 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The Weather Service urged residents to turn around if they encounter flooded roads and to report flooding to local law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>Forecasts show that Houston will experience hot and mostly dry weather through Thursday.
