{"id":399893,"date":"2026-08-07T03:18:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T03:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/399893\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T03:18:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T03:18:10","slug":"texas-rangers-assisting-after-man-found-dead-in-west-texas-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/399893\/","title":{"rendered":"Texas Rangers assisting after man found dead in West, Texas home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kwtx.com\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/kwtx.com\">WEST, Texas (KWTX) &#8211; <\/a>  Authorities are awaiting autopsy results after a 41-year-old man was found dead inside a local residence Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">At approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, the West Police Department responded to the 100 block of South Williams Street after a resident requested a welfare check on a friend. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers entered the home and confirmed that Dillan Lambright, 41, was deceased.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Due to the nature of the scene, West Police Chief Chris White requested assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety\u2019s Texas Rangers to help process the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">An inquest was performed, and McLennan County Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace David Pareya has ordered an autopsy. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The active investigation remains pending those results.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KWTX.
