SAN ANTONIO – Tx \u2014 It\u2019s been two days since the skeletal remains found at Concepcion Park were identified as 7-month-old Ozana Cisneros who was the center of an Amber Alert.<\/p>\n
Ozana\u2019s paternal grandmother Christy Rodriguez is sharing her grief and fear over the safety of Ozana\u2019s 3-year-old sister Eliana. She says Eliana is living in the same home as Maximina who authorities found squatting in an abandoned home near the park where Ozana was found.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy concerns are my son reached out to Petra,\u201d Rodriguez said. \u201cMy son\u2019s incarcerated right now. When he called Maxi answered the phone.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rodriguez\u2019s son, Anthony Campos, is Ozana and Eliana\u2019s father. Rodriguez says she contacted CPS.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re playing with my grandkid\u2019s life, and it\u2019s not right,\u201d Rodriguez said. \u201cWhat are they waiting for? For something to happen again and then they\u2019re going to do something. It tears me to pieces.\u201d<\/p>\n
The grandmother is wondering why the police have not arrested or filed any charges in Ozana\u2019s death. She is disappointed because SAPD hasn\u2019t kept her in the loop.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen it comes down to it, we\u2019ve always been cooperative with any questions that they\u2019ve had,\u201d Rodriguez said. \u201cI believe if we gave them 100 percent, they could\u2019ve at least had the decency to acknowledge us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rodriguez says she learned Ozana\u2019s remains were positively identified on the news. Police have not named Maximina or anyone else as a suspect in the case. We reached out to SAPD to ask if they\u2019re close to making an arrest in Ozana\u2019s death, and if they\u2019ve determined how the baby died. We have not heard back. Rodriguez wants answers. She says she is heartbroken and wishes she could hold Ozana one more time.<\/p>\n
