Former Chief William McManus was extremely efficient overseeing the San Antonio Police Department. He was caring and devoted to doing the right thing.<\/p>\n
He will long be remembered as one of the best of the best. San Antonio had the fortune to have him in leadership for so long.<\/p>\n
Per his request, we will remember that he cared and did a good job.<\/p>\n
I wish former San Antonio Police\u00a0Chief William\u00a0McManus had been around in the ’60s and ’70s when I was a San Antonio police officer.<\/p>\n
The article gave us some information we didn\u2019t know about him, showing us the person he really was.<\/p>\n
Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones wants a new vote on Project Marvel and a new Spurs arena.<\/p>\n
Consider, in the June 7, 2025 San Antonio mayoral runoff, Jones defeated Rolando Pablos with 77,484 votes (54.3%) to his 65,202 votes (45.7%).<\/p>\n
I believe San Antonio would support another vote on the Spurs arena following a redo on the mayoral election.<\/p>\n
