{"id":400409,"date":"2026-08-07T17:32:42","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T17:32:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/400409\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T17:32:42","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T17:32:42","slug":"postal-worker-airlifted-with-serious-injuries-after-multi-vehicle-crash-in-paris","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/400409\/","title":{"rendered":"Postal worker airlifted with serious injuries after multi-vehicle crash in Paris"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">PARIS, Texas (KXII) &#8211; A U.S. Postal Service worker was airlifted to a Plano hospital with serious injuries Wednesday afternoon following a three-vehicle collision on FM 195.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers responded to the major traffic crash in the 3600 block of FM 195 at around 1:04 p.m. Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the Paris Police Department, a white minivan traveling northbound on FM 195 rear-ended the postal service SUV as the carrier was attempting to turn onto North Hills Road while delivering mail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The impact forced the postal SUV into the oncoming southbound lane, where it was struck by an oncoming pickup truck towing a trailer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">First responders treated the postal driver for serious injuries at the scene before an air ambulance transported them to a hospital in Plano.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">No update on their condition or the condition of the other drivers involved has been released at this time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police issued traffic citations as a result of the incident, though no criminal charges have been filed. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The crash remains under investigation by the Paris Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KXII.
