DALLAS – Dallas police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stabbed his girlfriend and fled after officers fired shots in his direction.<\/p>\n

What we know:<\/p>\n
The officer-involved shooting happened around 7 a.m. in the 8500 block of Park Lane.<\/p>\n
Dallas police said officers were called to that area for a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, they saw 37-year-old Isidoro Melo-Munoz actively stabbing a woman who he has a dating relationship with.<\/p>\n
Officers gave him commands to drop the knife and police said one officer fired shots at him. However, he fled and is not yet in custody.<\/p>\n
The injured female was taken to the hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n
No officers were injured.<\/p>\n
Dallas police give an update on the search for 37-year-old Isidoro Melo-Munoz. Officers fired shots at him as he was stabbing his girlfriend outside an apartment complex in Northwest Dallas. He fled the scene is still at large.<\/p>\n What we don’t know:<\/p>\n Police said they are not yet sure if Melo-Munoz was hit by the gunfire.<\/p>\n The condition of the female victim is also unknown.<\/p>\n What you can do:<\/p>\n Anyone who spots the suspect is encouraged to call 911 immediately.
