Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a male in the 8700 block of Blackhawk Ridge Lane about 3:55 p.m. on May 7.<\/p>\n

The juvenile male suspect, 16, was referred to the Harris County Juvenile Probation Authorities on a charge of aggravated robbery. The name and photo of the\u00a0juvenile\u00a0suspect\u00a0is not releasable.<\/p>\n

The deceased male is identified as Jadiel Rodriguez, 16.<\/p>\n

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Nielsen and Detective A. Herrera reported:<\/p>\n

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and located a juvenile male with multiple gunshot wounds.\u00a0Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n

Officers learned a second male also suffered at least one gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital.<\/p>\n

Further investigation identified the injured male as a suspect in this incident and he was subsequently charged for his role. On\u00a0August 5, the juvenile suspect turned himself in.<\/p>\n

On May 22, investigators released a photo of person of interest only known as \u201cJunior.\u201d That individual is still wanted for questioning.<\/p>\n
