From time to time, Taylor Sheridan<\/a> moves from behind the camera to in front of it.<\/p>\n

The Fort Worth-raised creator actually got his start as an actor, appearing in episodes of \u201cWalker, Texas Ranger,\u201d \u201cNYPD Blue\u201d and more. His lengthiest role came in \u201cSons of Anarchy,\u201d where he appeared in 21 episodes over three seasons.<\/p>\n

In the mid-2010s, Sheridan moved behind the camera<\/a> and worked as a screenwriter, penning films like \u201cSicario\u201d and \u201cHell or High Water.\u201d He also turned to directing, first on \u201cWind River,\u201d and then on \u201cYellowstone\u201d and several other Paramount+ shows that he created.<\/p>\n

In 2016, Sheridan appeared as \u201cCowboy\u201d in \u201cHell or High Water.\u201d<\/p>\n

He played another cowboy, named Travis Wheatley, in 18 episodes of \u201cYellowstone\u201d across four seasons<\/a>. Travis is a horse trainer that works out of Bosque Ranch, which is Sheridan\u2019s actual ranch that he owns in Weatherford.<\/p>\n

Finally, Sheridan has appeared in four episodes of \u201cLioness\u201d as Cody Spears, an operator that teams up with the main crew on occasion. Sheridan began the role in season 2 and reprised it in the season 3 premiere<\/a>, which recently released.<\/p>\n
