It\u2019s about moving together. The team is a place to rebuild strength, celebrate life after treatment and remind others that survivorship can include joy, movement and connection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Pink Phurree is Texas\u2019 first all-women breast cancer survivor dragon boat team nonprofit, founded in 2007 to help survivors rebuild strength, resilience and confidence through the power of teamwork. The team brings together women at every stage of survivorship, creating a support system both on and off the water.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">This month, 10 Houston breast cancer survivors will represent the city at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibcpc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ibcpc.com\/\">International Breast Cancer Paddlers\u2019 Commission<\/a> (IBCPC) Participatory Dragon Boat Festival in France.
