The lead would not hold following a penalty conversion in the 81st minute by Kat Rader, after a foul was called in the penalty area.<\/p>\n<p>The Current fall to sixth in the league with 30 points. They will visit league-leaders and defending champions Gotham FC on Friday, with kickoff at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The Current remain without forward Temwa Chawinga, who can secure her Malawi Scorchers their first-ever World Cup berth Sunday evening in the Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinals against Ghana.
