Deputies began CPR before the child was flown to a hospital.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>What to know<\/p>\n<p>The toddler remains in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>HCSO said the child was reportedly hit multiple times.<\/p>\n<p>The child\u2019s mother and Gonzalez brought the child to a gas station.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies performed CPR before the child was flown to a hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Gonzalez is charged with injury to a child.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation remains ongoing.
