They were the highest prize winner in Texas, alongside more than 140,000 other tickets that won prizes ranging from $4 all the way up to $150,000<\/p>\n<p>The numbers that were drawn are as follows: 5-9-35-54-63 rounded out with a red 7 Powerball.<\/p>\n<p>While it was not the full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/news\/nation-world\/powerball-winning-numbers-saturday-aug-8\/507-2c55bf1e-06b8-4392-b879-0a27c4faca87\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">$856 million jackpot prize<\/a>, the ticket matched all 5 numbers with the power play bonus active, netting the $2M prize.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Texas Lottery website, the ticket must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. Due to the size of the prize, the winner will need to visit a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texaslottery.com\/export\/sites\/lottery\/About_Us\/Agency_Directory\/Claim_Center_Locations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">local claim center<\/a> or take a trip to the Texas Lottery headquarters in Austin before Feb. 4, 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, August 10, with an estimated jackpot of $905 million.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The winning ticket was purchased at the Tom Thumb near NorthPark Center.
