HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A 19-year-old passenger in a pickup truck was shot near the North Freeway on Sunday night, police said.<\/p>\n

According to the Houston Police Department, someone opened fire at the truck near I-45 and Airtex Boulevard at about 11:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Video captured by ABC13 at the scene shows bullet holes in a black pickup truck.<\/p>\n

Police said the driver was heading southbound before pulling off the highway at Glenborough, where officers reported finding the truck.<\/p>\n

Authorities said the 19-year-old man who was shot was sitting in the backseat, and two other people were in the car with him. He was hospitalized in critical condition.<\/p>\n

Police did not reveal what may have led up to the shooting, but they said they do not think it is related to road rage.<\/p>\n
