A media day for the Fort Worth Texas Temple will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, followed by tours for invited guests on November 3 and 4. The public open house will be held Thursday, November 5, through Saturday, November 21, 2026 (excluding Sundays).<\/p>\n
The dedication will take place on Sunday, January 10, 2027, and will be broadcast to all congregations in the Fort Worth Texas Temple district.<\/p>\n
This will be the sixth dedicated temple in the state, joining temples in Dallas<\/a>, Houston<\/a>, Lubbock<\/a>, McAllen<\/a> and San Antonio<\/a>. Temples are under construction in Austin<\/a> and Fairview<\/a>\u00a0and have been announced in El Paso<\/a> and Fort Bend<\/a>.<\/p>\n Texas is home to nearly 400,000 members of the Church, meeting in around 750 congregations.<\/p>\n The Fort Worth Texas Temple was announced<\/a> in 2021.<\/p>\n \u00a0Barcelona Spain Temple<\/p>\n The groundbreaking ceremony for the Barcelona Spain Temple will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Elder James W. McConkie III<\/a> of the Europe Central Area Presidency will preside at the event.<\/p>\n Nearly 72,000 Latter-day Saints reside in Spain<\/a>, meeting in around 150 congregations.<\/p>\n This will be the second house of the Lord in the country. The Madrid Spain Temple<\/a> was dedicated in 1999. The Barcelona Spain Temple was announced<\/a> in 2022.<\/p>\n In a recent general conference<\/a>, President Dallin H.
