{"id":403397,"date":"2026-08-11T09:20:19","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T09:20:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/403397\/"},"modified":"2026-08-11T09:20:19","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T09:20:19","slug":"neko-yubu-opens-first-austin-location-in-west-campus-central-austin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/403397\/","title":{"rendered":"Neko Yubu opens first Austin location in West Campus | Central Austin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nekoyubu.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Neko Yubu<\/a>, a Dallas-born Korean spot, opened in West Campus in early August, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/neko_yubu\/p\/DboOegtGMSK\/?img_index=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to an Instagram post.<\/a> Neko Yubu launched its soft opening earlier this month, with a grand opening planned for Aug. 8.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant is led by owners Dean Kim and Connor Park.<\/p>\n<p>On the menu<\/p>\n<p>Neko Yubu serves up a selection of Korean and Japanese inspired yubu, which are fried tofu skin stuffed with rice and different add-ins. Yubu can be made with fresh salmon, beef bulgogi, egg mayo, tuna mayo and butter crab. Sides include miso soup, yubu soup and tteokbokki.<\/p>\n<p>The specialty drink selection includes different iced fruit-based drinks such as guava, strawberry, kiwi, lemon and mango beverages. Neko Yubu also sells Korean iced coffees and matcha. In addition to made-to-order options, the menu also features a selection of Korean snacks and drinks such as shrimp crackers and flavored milk drinks.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration<\/p>\n<p>Neko Yubu will hold a grand opening celebration on Aug. 8 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. with a live DJ set from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The context<\/p>\n<p>Neko Yubu initially opened in Dallas in April 2025, according to Jenny Kim, the restaurant\u2019s marketing director.
