El Paso job fair to match veterans with employers<\/p>\n
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM<\/a>) \u2014 The Workforce Solutions Borderplex will host its annual \u201cRed, White, and You\u201d hiring event next Thursday, Nov. 13.<\/p>\n The hiring event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Armed Forces Reserve Center at 11701 Montana Ave.<\/p>\n Prior entry for military veterans and active-duty service members and dependents will be at 9 a.m., and doors will open for all at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n The event is part of a coordinated statewide effort to connect veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses with employers who are ready to hire now, especially with the ongoing government shutdown.<\/p>\n More than 30 employers are expected to participate in the hiring event and will be representing high-demand industries such as healthcare, defense, logistics, transportation, IT\/cybersecurity, government, skilled trades, customer service, and advanced manufacturing, according to the non-profit.<\/p>\n The event will also include same-day hiring opportunities, resume and job-search workshops, a free professional headshot station, veteran-ready employers, benefits specialists, and free transportation from WSB\u2019s Military Center at Fort Bliss.<\/p>\n \u201cServing the region that includes Fort Bliss, the second-largest military installation in the country, this event is one of the most impactful hiring opportunities of the year for the Borderplex community.\u201d<\/p>\n Workforce Solutions Borderplex <\/p>\n To register online, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
