El Paso takes its food seriously. We all have our favorites for the usuals like tacos, burgers and even wings, but I think enchiladas deserve a little love, too!<\/p>\n

I asked our Facebook followers where they go when they\u2019re craving a good plate of enchiladas, and I was overwhelmed with answers.<\/p>\n
There were longtime favorites, neighborhood spots and plenty of restaurants I immediately wanted to add to my own foodie list. Whittling all those recommendations down wasn’t easy, but these 13 El Paso restaurants got plenty of love from locals.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite things about the responses was seeing how much love went to local mom-and-pop restaurants. El Pasoans showed up for the small businesses they love, and people were jumping into the comments to agree with recommendations or add their own. I’ll definitely be checking out some of the one’s I had never even heard of!<\/p>\n
I\u2019m also not surprised that the most famous places, like L&J Caf\u00e9 and Kiki\u2019s were mentioned so much; these restaurants are legendary for a reason and this list just wouldn\u2019t be complete without mentioning them!<\/p>\n
