The driver reportedly died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Three people who were inside the other vehicle were not injured, HPD said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">HPD Sgt. Mike Barrow said the SUV was &#8220;traveling at a high rate of speed on the feeder road, possibly from exiting the freeway.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">The sergeant added that it&#8217;s unclear if alcohol or drugs were involved, but said it&#8217;s something they suspect at this time and that it is pending further investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KTRK-TV.
