{"id":405704,"date":"2026-08-13T18:38:16","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T18:38:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/405704\/"},"modified":"2026-08-13T18:38:16","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T18:38:16","slug":"law-enforcement-agencies-investigating-shooting-in-east-lubbock-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/405704\/","title":{"rendered":"Law enforcement agencies investigating shooting in East Lubbock"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) &#8211; Lubbock law enforcement agencies are investigating a possible drive-by shooting in East Lubbock Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Just after 9 a.m., Lubbock police say an officer assigned to the Texas Anti-Gang Center was in the area of North Ironwood Ave. and East Baylor investigating an unrelated incident when he observed a \u201cdrive-by shooting.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">At this time, no injuries have been reported and officers are speaking with possibly involved individuals. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">LPD says no nearby school campuses are affected. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Lubbock Sheriff\u2019s Office and DPS are assisting in the investigating and making sure the perimeter is secure. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">LSO says it will release more details when available.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This is a developing story; check back for updates<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KCBD.
