CCPD’s Hostage Negotiation Team and Drone Unit were called to Carriage Park Towne House after a domestic disturbance.<\/p>\n

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 A domestic disturbance led to a large police response and evacuations at a Corpus Christi townhome complex Thursday morning as officers worked to make contact with a man who remained inside a home and had access to weapons, according to police.<\/p>\n

Corpus Christi police were called to the 70 block of Townhouse Lane at Carriage Park Towne House, around 10:20 a.m.<\/p>\n

Officers found the victim outside the home. Police said the man involved in the disturbance remained inside.<\/p>\n

The Corpus Christi Police Department’s Hostage Negotiation Team and Drone Unit were called to the scene. Nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution.<\/p>\n

Police said officers are making contact with the man. He has not been arrested at this time.<\/p>\n

No injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n

The victim was taken to CCPD’s main station to speak with detectives. Police said the two people knew each other and described the incident as isolated.<\/p>\n
