Still, Trump has found other ways to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2026\/07\/24\/nx-s1-5905783\/trump-tariff-trade-global-canada\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">implement taxes<\/a> on foreign products.<\/p>\n<p>Apple&#8217;s expansion in Houston is part of its $600 billion investment in American manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>In remarks Thursday, Apple CEO Tim Cook also emphasized his company&#8217;s expansion in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We believe in American workers and American ingenuity,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And I know that together, we will accomplish extraordinary things.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>American manufacturing jobs have declined slightly over the past year, according to data from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/ces\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics<\/a>.
