(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsfa.com\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"http:\/\/www.wsfa.com\">WSFA<\/a>) &#8211; A Selma woman was killed, and three other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Dallas County Saturday afternoon, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">State Troopers say 34-year-old Taylor Layne Owens Averette was fatally injured when the vehicle she was riding as a passenger in was struck by another car on U.S. 80. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Responders pronounced Averette dead at the scene. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The vehicle\u2019s driver and two passengers in the other vehicle, were taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The crash happened near mile marker 90, about four mile east of Selma. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">ALEA\u2019s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the cause of the crash. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Not reading this story on the WSFA News App?
