HARRIS COUNTY, Texas \u2013 A woman was killed late Thursday night after being hit by a vehicle in northwest Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/a><\/p>\n Deputies responded around 9:30 p.m. to the 13300 block of Highway 249 for a reported auto-pedestrian crash. Investigators said the woman was trying to cross the roadway when she was struck.<\/p>\n Houston EMS personnel pronounced her dead at the scene, authorities said.<\/p>\n The driver of a Toyota sedan remained at the location, showed no signs of impairment and has been cooperative with investigators, HCSO said.
