Major backup is being reported.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Clearing time is estimated to be until further notice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This came after parts of far East El Paso received some heavy rainfall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Flooding is also being reported near Montwood Middle School.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">El Paso Fire said they have not had any injuries or transports that were weather-related.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">As of about 9 p.m., about 1,700 customers are without power, mostly in far East El Paso, according to the El Paso Electric outage map.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"900\" height=\"489\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/https:\/\/media.zenfs.com\/en\/ktsm_articles_153\/fde6ce8a1030f773228b90150ec3ff12.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">TxDOT reminds motorists to turn around when they see standing water. &#8220;Turn around.
