Jake Bigoni, 37, was taken into custody Wednesday after officers performing a welfare check for his estranged wife, Eliana Bigoni, discovered her dead inside his Plano, Texas<\/a>, apartment. He was initially booked on a felony abuse of corpse charge before authorities later added a murder charge, police said in a news release.<\/p>\n Authorities initiated the welfare check after one of Eliana’s friends reported that she had not appeared for a scheduled breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and could not be reached, according to an arrest warrant obtained by FOX 4<\/a>.
