Other amenities at the gym include its camera-friendly space for content creators, indoor green turf, indoor pool, hot tub and saunas per <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/plano\/business\/third-plano-eos-fitness-location-now-open\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">previous reporting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The fitness center also uses AI software that provides its members with personalized training plans for gym equipment, per <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/plano-south\/business\/es-fitness-opens-2nd-plano-location-offers-ai-powered-personal-training-plans\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">previous reporting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Construction is estimated to start in September, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdlr.texas.gov\/TABS\/Search\/Project\/TABS2026022126\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">filing<\/a> with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration, and is expected to be completed by July 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The background<\/p>\n<p>The new fitness location will be in the same space as the former Kroger location that <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/plano-north\/business\/kroger-sets-relocation-date-in-plano\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">closed<\/a> in January 2025. Plano\u2019s planning and zoning commission unanimously voted to approve a new fitness center at the location April 20, per <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/plano\/development\/plans-for-new-retail-buildings-fitness-center-at-former-plano-kroger-advance\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">previous reporting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>EOS fitness has three other locations in Plano, including its locations along <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/plano\/business\/third-plano-eos-fitness-location-now-open\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">K Avenue<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/plano-south\/business\/es-fitness-opens-2nd-plano-location-offers-ai-powered-personal-training-plans\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">15th Street<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eosfitness.com\/gym\/plano-preston-rd-w-parker-rd\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Preston Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"EOS Fitness is planning to open its fourth Plano location near SH 121 and Coit Road.
