HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Authorities said that SWAT units responded as a suspect was refusing to exit a home in the Channelview area after deputies attempted to serve a warrant.<\/p>\n

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Reigate Lane near Dell Dale Street to serve a warrant at about 1 p.m. on Monday. Officials said the man refused to leave the home.<\/p>\n

HCSO told ABC13 that no one else is inside the residence. Officials have not identified the suspect or the reason for the initial warrant.<\/p>\n

SkyEye13 was over the scene Monday evening, capturing images of law enforcement at the scene of the reported SWAT situation.<\/p>\n

As of Monday night, the scene has cleared. Authorities have not provided an update regarding this incident.<\/p>\n
