San Antonio, Texas \u2014 SAN ANTONIO \u2014 The U.S. Marshals Service is asking for the public\u2019s help finding Malcolm Jamar Hodges, who is wanted for allegedly violating the terms of his federal supervised release.<\/p>\n
Hodges\u2019 warrant is now being handled by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.<\/p>\n
In 2018, Hodges was convicted in federal court of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.<\/p>\n
Federal authorities say Hodges later violated the conditions of that release after allegedly attempting to falsify a required drug test.<\/p>\n
According to investigators, Hodges tried to use an unknown liquid in place of his own urine during the test.<\/p>\n
Authorities say he was then required to provide another sample, which tested positive for cannabinoids.<\/p>\n
Federal officials say Hodges later admitted to using marijuana while on supervised release.<\/p>\n
Hodges, 34, is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and approximately 250 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes.<\/p>\n
Authorities say he has a rose tattoo on the upper right forearm and a cross tattoo on the underside of the same forearm.<\/p>\n
His last known location was in Selma, Texas.<\/p>\n
