Under Coyote Drive-In\u2019s original lease agreement with the Tarrant Regional Water District, the lease would end once the district began construction on two new canals and a three-acre park on the property.<\/p>\n<p>With that Panther Island milestone expected this fall, TRWD exercised its right to terminate the lease, the organization said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When we opened Coyote Drive-In, we hoped to create more than just a place to watch movies; we wanted to create a place where families and friends could come together and make lasting memories,&#8221; Solomon said.<\/p>\n<p>            <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"photo__main\" loading=\"eager\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/d7895961-4ee4-47cb-a0b7-b8efd0670df3_1140x641.jpg\"  alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Since opening, Coyote Drive-In has welcomed movie lovers of all ages, hosted community events and offered a blend of classic drive-in nostalgia and modern amenities.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, Solomon thanked the drive-in\u2019s customers, employees, business partners and the Fort Worth community for their support over the years.<\/p>\n<p>Solomon also recognized General Manager Chris Fortune, who has been with Coyote Drive-In since it opened.
