Like many artists, Burruss expresses what she internalizes through her musical gifts. <\/p>\n
\u201cJust like other things, when I go through something, I typically vent creatively,\u201d she says.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Burruss mentioned that attendees will be on an emotional rollercoaster throughout the night because of her honesty, but they will leave smiling.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, we actually show real footage of moments where I was in tears, or I was frustrated,\u201d the Atlanta native said. \u201cI just cut it up in the show, and I sit down, and I tell everybody what happened, like the real what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Burruss said \u201cyes\u201d to the dress twice, the second time for her one woman show that starts at the aisle and ends at the present day. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a show unlike what anybody else is doing,\u201d she added. \u201cLike, a lot of people ain\u2019t telling their business. They ain\u2019t really just keeping it 100. I overshare. Let\u2019s just say that. The show goes from being happy, fun, sexy, wild to tears. Then I bring you back up, uplift you to show you where the music at the end is more so about pushing through the hard times.\u201d<\/p>\n
She also created an original unreleased song for the show. <\/p>\n
\u201cI have not decided on if it\u2019s ever going to be out there for the world to see or if it\u2019s just for those who came to see me and be a part of this private show,\u201d Burruss says.<\/p>\n
Burruss says each show has become part of the healing process. <\/p>\n
\u201cI go through so many emotions in the show itself,\u201d she says. \u201cIt takes a lot out of you when you\u2019re going through all the different emotions. People don\u2019t understand it \u2026 But overall, at the end of the day, it\u2019s really helping me get through this moment in my life because you gotta imagine, like, we were married. It would have been 12 years in April.\u201d<\/p>\n
As Burruss adjusts to being single again, she\u2019s also getting a firsthand look at how much the dating landscape has changed.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeing back outside was scary,\u201d she says. \u201cThe thought was scary to me at first because being off the market for so long, it\u2019s not like I was in the club picking people up. I got people, all kinds of people, coming at me right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
The end of a marriage has stretched the actress beyond simply learning how to be single again. One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to co-parent.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the end of the day, we have kids together,\u201d she says. \u201cWe need to try to make everything pleasant, at least when they\u2019re around.\u201d<\/p>\n
Burruss extended her tour, adding Dallas to the tail end for a good reason. <\/p>\n
\u201cI absolutely love Dallas,\u201d Burruss says. \u201cEvery time I\u2019ve come, it\u2019s always, they\u2019ve always shown me a lot of love there. It doesn\u2019t matter what show or performance. Everything that I\u2019ve done there, y\u2019all always show love.\u201d<\/p>\n
Burruss\u2019 \u201cI Do. I Did. I\u2019m Done! Tour\u201d will be at the House of Blues on Aug. 21.
