EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 El Paso residents will have several chances this week to weigh in on the future of the city\u2019s parks, trails, and recreation programs as the Parks and Recreation Department moves into the next phase of its Parks Master Plan.<\/p>\n
The department is inviting the community to attend upcoming meetings where staff will share what they learned during the first phase of public engagement, including results from a community survey and feedback gathered from residents. <\/p>\n
Attendees will also be able to provide additional input to help guide future park improvements, amenities, recreation programming, and long-term investments.<\/p>\n
The city said community participation is essential to developing a Parks Master Plan that reflects the needs and priorities of El Paso residents, and encouraged all residents to attend and share their ideas.<\/p>\n
