Houston police are investigating the shooting of three men overnight in the Kashmere Gardens area.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The shooting took place around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday along Crane Street.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A man in his 40s and a man in his 20s were shot in the face and a man in his early 40s was shot in the legs multiple times, Houston Police Lt. R Willkens told OnScene TV.\u00a0<\/p>\n
All three were transported to the hospital. Information about their conditions was not immediately available Wednesday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Two vehicles were involved. A black car with multiple bullet holes crashed into a wall along the U.S. 59 feeder and another red car flipped over in a ditch on Crane Street,\u00a0Willkens said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“A witness said one of the victims who was in the black vehicle was coming up and down Crane and had shown a pistol to people and was ‘talking trash,'” he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Several gunshots were heard shortly after. Most of the shooting took place where the red car crashed in a ditch on Crane.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The man who was shot in the leg said he heard gunshots, got out of his vehicle and then was shot,\u00a0Willkens said. He got back in his car, went to his brother’s house and his brother took him to the hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n
One man shot in the face was found lying in\u00a0the street by the red car and the other was discovered in\u00a0the black car that crashed on the feeder.\u00a0<\/p>\n
An HPD helicopter searched the area for anyone involved who may have fled the scene, but no one was apprehended.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“We’re trying to put all the parts together and figure out who did what,” he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
