Check out five new restaurants that recently opened or are set to open soon in Richardson.<\/p>\n

1. Tayta Peruvian Restaurant<\/a><\/p>\n

Tayta is a family business serving authentic Peruvian food, owner Diego Florez said in an email. Menu highlights include ceviche, made according to a recipe Florez learned while traveling the Peruvian coast, and pollo a la brasa, roasted chicken cooked in an oven Florez said he brought to the restaurant from Peru.<\/p>\n

Opened July 18930 E. Campbell Road, Richardson<\/p>\n

2. Ocean Crawfish Seafood & Grill<\/a><\/p>\n

The Houston-based restaurant serves fresh seafood and live crawfish with a fusion of Vietnamese and Cajun flavors. Additional menu items include lobster, oysters, clams, hot pot and fried rice.<\/p>\n

Opened June 111610 E. Belt Line Road, Richardson<\/p>\n

3. Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko<\/a><\/p>\n

The cafe serves a variety of drinks made with matcha imported from Kyoto, Japan, as well as soft serve, parfaits and shaved ice.<\/p>\n

4. Truck Yard<\/a><\/p>\n

The bar and beer garden will feature rotating food trucks, live music and an on-site kitchen and bar. Truck Yard is taking over a property formerly occupied by Old 75 Beer Garden, which closed in 2024.<\/p>\n

5. Ajeena Mediterranean Caf\u00e9 & Bakery<\/a><\/p>\n
