Chick-fil-A fans in the Houston area will soon have a new reason to make a breakfast run or grab chicken for dinner.<\/p>\n
Starting Aug. 24, participating Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide, including locations in the Houston area, will begin serving new Chicken & Waffles sandwiches as part of a limited-time menu lineup. The items will be available through Nov. 14.<\/p>\n
The new lineup puts a sweet-and-savory spin on Chick-fil-A\u2019s classic chicken.<\/p>\n
For breakfast, the Chicken & Waffles Breakfast Sandwich will feature:<\/p>\n
Maple-flavored waffles<\/p>\n
A breakfast-sized Chick-fil-A chicken filet<\/p>\n
Applewood smoked bacon<\/p>\n
Honey butter spread<\/p>\n
A side of syrup<\/p>\n
Customers can choose an Original, Spicy or Grilled chicken filet. The breakfast sandwich will be available from opening until 10:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
For lunch and dinner, the Chicken & Waffles Sandwich will feature maple-flavored waffles, a full chicken filet, applewood smoked bacon, honey butter spread and a side of syrup.<\/p>\n
That version will be available from 10:30 a.m. until closing.<\/p>\n
Both sandwiches can be ordered for pickup or delivery at participating U.S. restaurants through the Chick-fil-A app, online or in person. The limited-time sandwiches will not be available through catering, and Chick-fil-A One points cannot be redeemed for them.<\/p>\n
If the chicken and waffles aren\u2019t sweet enough, Chick-fil-A is also bringing back the campfire flavors with two seasonal drinks: the S\u2019mores Milkshake and S\u2019mores Frosted Coffee.<\/p>\n
The seasonal offerings are part of Chick-fil-A\u2019s yearlong \u201cNewstalgia\u201d celebration, which puts new twists on familiar flavors.<\/p>\n
The new menu items officially launch Monday, Aug. 24, at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants.<\/p>\n
With Chick-fil-A locations throughout Houston and the surrounding communities, customers can check their local restaurant\u2019s menu or the Chick-fil-A app to see what\u2019s available.<\/p>\n
The Chicken & Waffles offerings are only available for a limited time, so fans will have until Nov. 14 to try them.<\/p>\n
