They walked away with a 31-20 victory over the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles<\/a> on Friday. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Hornets were the (much) better team in the second half.<\/p>\n

Samuel Smith<\/a> had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 143 yards and three touchdowns. Lucian Cruz<\/a> was another key player, having thrown for 287 yards and onetouchdown.<\/p>\n
