Entree fondue options including Coq au Vin and Court Bouillon, which pair with proteins such as shrimp, steak and chicken. Dessert options include six types of chocolate fondue served with sweet treats and fresh fruits, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meltingpot.com\/the-experience.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">restaurant\u2019s website states<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Allen location features a full-service bar, a \u201cLovers Lane\u201d with semi-private booths for two people, and a private event room, a news release states. The restaurant is led by local franchisees Tracie and Dan Greene.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our goal is to create a warm, inviting space where the community can slow down, reconnect, and celebrate special moments over great food,\u201d Tracie Greene said in the release.<\/p>\n<p>Quote of note<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s always a joy to welcome new businesses here to Allen because they just bring a sense of energy,\u201d Allen Mayor Chris Schulmeister said at the Aug. 19 event. \u201cIt brings new jobs &#8230; and that&#8217;s a good thing, and for The Melting Pot, it brings a new dining experience, not just for the people that live in Allen but the people that visit Allen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The context<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/facebook.com\/themeltingpotrestaurants\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Florida-based company<\/a>, which was founded in 1975, offers a variety of fondue cooking styles.
