Photo by Maricela Gonzales<\/a><\/p>\nFor students looking for a caffeine boost between classes, a quick snack before a test or a place to sit and study, UTA has several coffee shops spread across campus.<\/p>\n
From student-led caf\u00e9s to familiar chains, here are four coffee shops students can try out during their next coffee run.<\/p>\n
Social Grounds<\/p>\n
On the first floor of the School of Social Work and Smart Hospital Building, the caf\u00e9 is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. <\/p>\n
Tobesta Amenu, a student worker at the shop, said the location offered a variety of items such as coffee, protein smoothies and other foods. <\/p>\n
Inclusion Coffee Express<\/p>\n
On the first floor of the Science and Engineering Innovation Research Building, Inclusion Coffee Express serves students from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. <\/p>\n
Greg Rittenhouse, region leader of Inclusion Coffee, said the on-campus location is an environment where employees get to talk to students. <\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re coming to get drinks before and after their test, and just to be able to be the stop between the big stressful moments in their life, is such a cool spot to intersect,\u201d Rittenhouse said. <\/p>\n
Saxby\u2019s<\/p>\n
The UTA caf\u00e9 is a newer addition to campus and is the first of its locations in Texas. <\/p>\n
Anish Saha, UTA Saxby\u2019s vice president of campus marketing, said the location is a comforting place to hang out with friends. <\/p>\n
The experiential learning cafe is located in the UTA Bookstore and is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. <\/p>\n
Starbucks at The Commons<\/p>\n
The only Starbucks on campus is on the first floor of The Commons. <\/p>\n
The location is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. <\/p>\n
The area offers a cozy seating space for students to study or lounge in. <\/p>\n
