{"id":412902,"date":"2026-08-21T13:44:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T13:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/412902\/"},"modified":"2026-08-21T13:44:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T13:44:10","slug":"man-dies-after-allegedly-being-shot-by-sisters-boyfriend-during-family-disturbance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/412902\/","title":{"rendered":"Man dies after allegedly being shot by sister&#8217;s boyfriend during family disturbance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN ANTONIO &#8211; A man has died after he was shot during a family disturbance early Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. near Sahara Drive and Isom Road.<\/p>\n<p>According to the San Antonio Police Department, the man was involved in a physical altercation with his sister when he pulled out a weapon.<\/p>\n<p>The 35-year-old man was actively hitting the other person when the woman&#8217;s 25-year-old boyfriend intervened, retrieved a handgun and shot him in the torso.<\/p>\n<p>The man was taken to University Hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The sister and her boyfriend were detained for questioning following the shooting.
