SAN ANTONIO – Young San Antonians will have a chance Saturday to weigh in on how the city spends its money as officials continue gathering feedback on the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 budget.<\/p>\n
The city will host a Youth Budget Town Hall at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 22, at the San Antonio Food Bank, located at 5200 Historic Old Highway 90 West.<\/p>\n
The event is part of a series of town halls being held across San Antonio this month to give residents an opportunity to learn about the proposed budget, ask questions and share their priorities with city leaders.<\/p>\n
City Manager Erik Walsh presented the proposed FY 2027 budget on August 13. The city’s new fiscal year begins October 1.<\/p>\n
The youth-focused meeting is one of 11 town halls scheduled between August 17 and August 28, with additional meetings being held in each City Council district.<\/p>\n
