They will compete Aug. 26 against technicians\u00a0representing\u00a0Arizona,\u00a0Colorado\u00a0and Nevada in written and hands-on maintenance challenges.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Fleet-Technicians-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Fleet Technicians from the City of Richardson pose for a photo\" class=\"wp-image-26552\" style=\"width:609px;height:auto\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>From left, Chief Financial Officer Kent Pfeil, Cliff Janson, Juan<br \/>Trevino and City Manager Don Magner<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hands-on portion tests technicians\u2019 ability to diagnose and repair deliberately created vehicle problems within a set time limit, putting their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to the test.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FleetCon\u00a0is the annual conference sponsored by the\u00a0FleetPros\u00a0Association.
