The woman\u2019s leg was injured, and she was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>            Courtesy: Fort Worth police<\/p>\n<p>Police are investigating after a woman was attacked by a dog Friday morning in east Fort Worth.<\/p>\n<p>More than a dozen police units were dispatched to the 800 block of Canton Drive starting about 7:40 a.m. They were told a woman who lived at that address had been attacked by a dog on the property, according to police. Animal Control officers also arrived and had to give the dog a tranquilizer before they could take custody of it.<\/p>\n<p>The woman sustained injuries to her leg, according to a Fort Worth Fire EMS spokesperson.
