Owner Brad Fuller confirmed to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/fortworth.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/al-biernats-steakhouse-fort-worth\/\">Culture Map Fort Worth<\/a> that the lease is officially signed and to the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/restaurant-news\/article\/al-biernat-lubellas-new-restaurants-fw-arlington-22397796.php\">Dallas Morning News<\/a> that the timeline is to be determined with hopes for late next year.<\/p>\n<p>The nearly 12,000-square-foot building is across the street from the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.star-telegram.com\/news\/business\/fort-worth\/article290886839.html\">Fort Worth Convention Center,<\/a> which is undergoing a $700 million expansion. The saucer-shaped arena will be demolished to make way for a new glass layout. The whole project is expected to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.star-telegram.com\/news\/local\/fort-worth\/article314564390.html\">wrap up in late 2029<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.albiernats.com\/locations\/oak-lawn\/\">Al Biernat opened his steakhouse<\/a> in 1998 in the Oak Lawn neighborhood of Dallas. Al\u2019s hospitality, which is what the restaurant is known for today, brought him to open a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.albiernats.com\/locations\/north\/\">second location in north Dallas<\/a>. Fort Worth will be the third.<\/p>\n<p>Known as a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/obits.dallasnews.com\/us\/obituaries\/dallasmorningnews\/name\/alfred-biernat-obituary?id=56796894\">friend to all<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1EKmFajBXY\/\">Biernat welcomed VIP guests<\/a> like Will Ferrell, Michael Buble and Taylor Sheridan. In fact, before he opened his steakhouse, he served as a manager at <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thepalm.com\/cartoons-and-caricatures\/\">The Palm in Dallas<\/a> and hand-picked visiting celebrities to be painted as a caricature on the iconic wall.<\/p>\n<p>Biernat died after battling Bulbar ALS in 2024. Fuller worked with Al since the beginning and continues to manage Al Biernat\u2019s restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>He told Culture Map that he and Jeannie, Biernat\u2019s wife, had Fort Worth on their radar and the opportunity for the third restaurant opened up last summer.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Worth diners will indulge in everything from dry-aged rib eye and porterhouse, Japanese wagyu or a tomahawk. Prime seafood like Maine lobster and East Coast oysters are offered along with scallops and red snapper.
