A mariachi band also joined to celebrate the team! The group sang the iconic ranchera song, “El Rey.”<\/p>\n
ABC News’ Will Reeve also spoke with Texans Coach DeMeco Ryans about training camp and the upcoming season.<\/p>\n
Ryans said, “Being a Texan, to me, it means you get to play and coach and work for a city, a team that’s so passionate about the game. And I do it for our fans and to see how excited they are. That’s one thing I wanted to do. I wanted to bring that passion, bring that fire back to our fan base. And now when I go anywhere, go to the grocery stores or shopping. It’s like everyone’s like, coach, great job. We love to have you back, happy you’re back. And to see the smiles on our fans’ faces, like that’s what being a Texan is all about.”<\/p>\n
