Upon arrival, crews encountered advanced flames already breaking through the roof of the residence.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Firefighters initiated defensive operations and battled the blaze for nearly two hours, officially declaring the fire extinguished at 7:58 a.m.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">During the response, two firefighters suffered non-life-threatening burn injuries to their lower extremities. Both were taken to a local hospital. One firefighter was expected to be discharged Sunday, while the second will be admitted for further treatment, according to the department.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">None of the three residents were home when the fire broke out, but they arrived at the scene shortly after.
