The Dallas Cowboys<\/a> took one step closer toward beginning the 2026 campaign following Saturday’s 34-13 road win over the Arizona Cardinals in the second game<\/a> of the preseason. <\/p>\n

Dallas has officially left the Oxnard portion of training camp and will now head back to Frisco, TX in high spirits after a convincing preseason victory. <\/p>\n

But right before kickoff at State Farm Stadium against Arizona, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb<\/a> was involved in some unfortunate headlines.<\/p>\n

CeeDee Lamb’s Home Burglarized While Cowboys Were in Oxnard\"Dallas<\/p>\n

Lamb had his Fairview, TX home in the Dallas-Fort Worth area burglarized on July 30, per reports from<\/a> Nick Harris of The Fort Worth-Star Telegram. The incident occurred during the team’s fourth day of training camp in Oxnard and the second day of practice. <\/p>\n

Over $300,000 worth of belongings were taken from Lamb’s home, including four luxury bags, according to Harris.<\/p>\n

There are no known suspects attached to the case nearly a month after its occurrence. Lamb and the rest of the team are getting a chance to return back to the Dallas area on Sunday, meaning he will finally be able to step foot in his home for the first time since the crime was committed.<\/p>\n

Lamb is hardly the only notable NFL player who has had his home burglarized since 2024. The list includes some of the biggest names in the league. <\/p>\n

Here are some members of the unfortunate list that Lamb is now a part of: <\/p>\n

– Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and TE Travis Kelce (2024)<\/p>\n

– Bengals QB Joe Burrow (2025) <\/p>\n

– Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (2026)<\/p>\n

– Former Seahawks CB Richard Sherman (2025)<\/p>\n

Many of the most notable robberies toward professional athletes over the past two years have been a result of what authorities say is the work of a crime ring.<\/p>\n

At this point, it’s unclear if the burglary at Lamb’s residence has any connection to the string of incidents at the homes of other NFL players.<\/p>\n

Though it’s never comfortable knowing that someone else broke into your home, Lamb’s current four-year, $136 million contract should certainly help ease any stress that comes with the financial loss.<\/p>\n

He will look to close out training camp and preseason on a high note before the Cowboys visit the New York Giants in Week 1 on Sept. 13.<\/p>\n
