It\u2019s the latest hit in a string of brazen burglaries targeting affluent athletes in recent years. <\/p>\n
Police responded to Lamb\u2019s home in Fairview, Texas, the afternoon of July 31 on a report of a home burglary.<\/p>\n
When police arrived, they met with \u201cindividuals representing Mr. Lamb\u201d who showed them a broken window on the side of the home where the burglars likely entered, Fairview police said in a statement Sunday. <\/p>\n
Evidence pointed to a single suspect entering and exiting through that window, taking \u201cseveral high-end personal items,\u201d officials said. More than $300,000 worth of property was stolen, including four luxury bags, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram<\/a> reported, citing the police report.<\/p>\n An investigation remains underway to find the suspect.<\/p>\n The 27-year-old football star was at training camp <\/a>with the team in Oxnard, California, at the time of the burglary. <\/p>\n NBC News has reached out to Lamb\u2019s representative for comment. Lamb was selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.<\/p>\n The burglary marks yet another incident in a spate of break-ins targeting high-profile athletes\u2019 homes.<\/p>\n Last month Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley\u2019s Pennsylvania home was invaded<\/a> by a suspect while he and his family were home, police said.
